Yesterday I had some friends over. It was nice having them. The guys did my garden and they did it so well... like the work of professionals. I so love my garden now. The ladies, however came into the kitchen and cleaned my kitchen. Although I don't feel comfortable having somebody does my kitchen, I was still grateful coz I couldn't have done it. Of course, I took care of my living room. I realized that I need to re-upholster my couch set and I'm needing a new set of Discount Blinds. I say discount coz I need a discount for the blinds that I saw last time. Apparently, wooden blinds are expensive compared to the plastic ones. I prefer it wooden. Coupled with yellow lights give it a cozy look.

Anyways, I am thankful to these thoughtful friends. I just invited them for a barbecue at my house but they they came early and decided to help me clean up! What blessing God bestowed on us.

If you can remember how I blogged my hubby's (and my) laptop... His IBM notebook crashed. The computer guy said there's problem with the motherboard and if he fixed it, we might as well buy a new one coz it was very expensive. Since then my hubby has been using friend's notebook. But last month, somebody told us they were gonna give him a new notebook. So last Saturday, we went to see that friend because the notebook was ready. It's a very impressive IBM (Lenovo) thinkpad T60 R series. You just swipe your finger to turn it on... which means no need to type your password... and which means you cannot use it without my fingerprint. It's fun.

Our friends has been in computer business for awhile now. And they get all the latest gadgets one can find. They have really been blessed because of their generosity... in which, also, makes us, the receivers, very blessed. We are really blessed by them. Early this year, they gave us the Sony Cyber-shot digital camera also... which I use nowadays to take photos for my blogs. And now, the IBM lenovo R series. It's quite sleek and leightweight. Oh... I sooo love it! Thank God for using these friends' lives to bless us with such cool notebook. I also wonder if these friends ever have POS systems for their business. They need it so badly for their customers. Anyways... I am just grateful for the early Christmas gift. It's awesome. God is awesome.

It was truly a success for a first time meeting. Thanks to Steph for organizing it. I've been in Malaysia for almost 6 years now and yet I haven't really mixed around with Filipino expats in Malaysia. One factor is the distance and I don't drive. Not that confident enough to drive on Malaysia road. But since Steph contacted me (thanks to the blogosphere she found few Pinoy bloggers who are now residing in Malaysia), I knew that I have to meet her and meet Josiet again and a few others whom I have not met before. Glad I joined. It's cool to meet new people with the same originality. I had fun... so did my hubby. The food was awesome. It's nice to be eating pinakbet, relyenong bangus, adobong baboy, etc... again. Cannot remember all the food there. Grace's desserts were to die for. Looking forward to meeting them again and hoping they all could come for Schenker's Birthday party.
