As stay at home moms, we found it weird to be doing nothing on our mommy holiday. One afternoon we just stared at the beach munching our snacks. It’s as if time went by so slow. It normally just rushes by when you are busy with kids and unending housework.
It would have been nice if we rode in one of those little boats on a late afternoon, with marine speakers blaring with music as we watched the sunset, but we did not do that. Our photo shoots highlighted our afternoon after we just lazily sat on the shore, talked about anything under the sun.
It’s good to be busy and it’s a sin to be lazy, but we do need some time to just enjoy the joys of doing... nothing! Don’t you agree, super moms?
